Set Up for Success
Teaching Social Skills
- We explicitly teach skills like appropriate play and making friends
- Our team teaches students scripts that model sharing and taking turns
- We also teach children how to use visual cues for body/space awareness
Self-Regulation
Our classrooms use a Zones curriculum to help children understand and communicate their emotions
Group Socialization
Each TC Scholars classroom has learning centers designed for groups of two to six students. This setup promotes socialization between children.
